Veneers

Veneers are custom designed to give a natural, lasting result to a smile makeover. Many cosmetic dental problems, such as chipped, gapped, internal staining, worn, aged or minor misalignment of the teeth can be permanently and easily resolved. The veneer process involves removing a small amount of tooth structure from the outer surface. A thin wafer of porcelain is then custom designed to contour and fit perfectly onto each individually prepared tooth. The veneer is then fastened using a very strong bonding material, giving strength and durability to the tooth. The benefits of veneers are many and they are more stable and last longer than bonding, plus no extensive preparation or filing is required. Veneers are as strong as the natural tooth and are able to resist future discoloration and chipping.
