Preventive Dentistry
Preventive Therapy includes regular cleanings and checkups as a preventive procedure. It is our goal to help those individuals who visit the dentist regularly to control the build up of calculus and stain. Patients with long treatment gaps between dental visits, tend to build up large amounts of calculus or stain, or if their home care is especially lax, a "cleaning" may not be appropriate. Conservative periodontal therapy may be the treatment of choice. |

Sealants are a great preventative treatment for children. A sealant is a thin film of liquid that is applied, and then sealed to a child’s 6-year molars . Some children have very deep pits or fissures that are very difficult to reach with a toothbrush. The sealant protects the tooth from decay.

A sealant is much more affordable than a filling and keeps the permanent tooth healthy. |
