Invisalign

Invisalign is the clear aligner system that straightens the teeth by changing the aligners every two weeks. The teeth move in small increments until they are straightened, then retainers are placed. The benefits of this treatment are that the aligners are virtually invisible and can be removed to eat. The disadvantage is that not all patients are candidates, since Invisalign only works in cases with a limited amount of tooth crowding. However, we will evaluate the possibility of utilizing methods for arch development, (functional appliances), then re-evaluate to see if Invisalign is an option.
In cases where braces are the only option to straighten the teeth, we offer both clear and metal brackets. The clear brackets are translucent and match the individual patients tooth color. The only portion visible is the tiny wire that connects the brackets to one another. The metal brackets are “micro” is size, which means they are smaller and take up less space on the tooth, making them more aesthetically pleasing to the patient.
