Here at the Smile Center of Orlando we take care to explain all dental procedures and associated fees clearly before we begin treatment. We have designed simple payment options, in an effort to give you affordable, high quality dental care.

The payment options described below are simple, cost-effective, and convenient.

• We accept payment in full at each visit with no insurance or full copayment with insurance: Cash, Check, Money Order, American Express, Master Card, Visa, Discover or Checkcard
No or low interest payment plans available with Care Credit who specializes exclusively in helping patients with larger dental or orthodontic cases to have the smile they want and deserve (see below for more information).
• Three Consecutive Payments are available for existing patients, interest free through our office with a 30% down payment at first visit. The remaining balance will be split into three equal payments and must be left with us either by credit card or debit card to automatically take payment.

With a decision made almost instantly, this company can typically offer you a smaller monthly fee over a longer period of time, with no down payment and no prepayment penalty than what our office can provide you.

In-house Financing for Orthodontics & Treatment Plans Greater than $3000 are available with a 30% down payment at first visit.  The remaining balance will be split into 12 equal payments and must be left with us either by a credit card or debit card to automatically take payment.

Helping You File Your Insurance

Our mission is to deliver the finest, most effective dental care treatments available today. In order to accomplish this goal, we have made a change in our relationship with insurance firms. We believe that it is important for you, the patient, to have the best treatment available, instead of having the insurance companies dictate what your treatment should be. Our fees reflect the time that the doctor spends with each patient as well as the quality of care and service that we provide in our practice. Our fees are not based upon insurance allowances. Please be prepared to pay for your full (co) payment on the day of service by using one of our convenient payment options.. This change will grant you greater freedom to choose your best treatment option.

We are more than happy to submit any insurance claim as a courtesy to you at no charge, however please know that your full co-payment is expected on the date of service and any outstanding balance not paid by the insurance company is ultimately the patient's responsibility.

A few notes about insurance:

• Dental insurance companies do not normally cover 100% of any dental fee and often cover less than 50%. Sometimes even no payment is made. The fine print of your plan reveals the truth about actual percentages, which can be less than expected.
  
• When dental insurance was introduced about fifty years ago, the annual maximum reimbursement was set at approximately $1,000. Many insurance programs still apply this figure. Adjusted for inflation, your annual maximum should be over $5,000 today! While insurance premiums have increased, benefits have decreased.
  
• Though your insurance plan is a contract between you and your employer and the insurance company, we are happy to discuss your particular dental benefits with you. Please note we do not guarantee insurance reimbursement outcomes. While we attempt to estimate your co-payment and maximize your reimbursement, you are ultimately responsible for all fees in their entirety, regardless of the amount of your insurance reimbursement.
